Back in Business (Sorta)

As you will have probably noticed by now, #82 is (finally) online. It's also drawn by me, proving that I am indeed a filthy, filthy liar. Unfortunately, James is far too busy with university and work to continue drawing A Game of Fools, and so I'll be taking over as artist again. Normally, this will be the point where I try to find someone new, but I feel that there have been way too many art shifts in a very short period already, and some consistancy is badly needed (it would be nice to have at least one storyline where the artwork is the same for the whole thing). I'll be drawing the rest of this storyline in the imitation of James' style I've been using lately, and once it's over I'm going to revert to something similar to the style I used just before Danielle Phillips' stint as artist. I'll probably try and find someone new sometime in the future, but at the moment I really just want to try and have at least some sort of sustained period with the same artist at the helm, even if it means the art quality isn't as good as it would be with somebody else.

Again, massive apologies for all the huge delays over the last month and a half. I'm working on trying to get the next few done as quickly as possible, and my goal is to make up all the missed updates and get back to the regular schedule by the end of this month - so expect quite a few updates over the next few weeks (we're 5 comics behind schedule at the moment). #83 will go online sometime tomorrow. Thanks so much to everyone for bearing with me during this period.

UPDATE (24/10/09): As is #84. All this copy and pasting is only temporary by the way, it's just so I can get the next few done fast enough to get back on schedule. Once this storyline ends I'm going to revert back to doing the line-art by hand.

UPDATE (27/10/09): #85 is now up as well. Sorry this one took so long, been busy with work and cleaning up the house for an inspection. The next comic should be going online tomorow or the day after.
